Protect what
your family
built.

Bas Madison is an educational center for Argentine middle-class families. We cover the core concepts of family wealth protection, savings diversification, and financial decision-making in high-inflation environments.

"

Understanding how to think about money in an inflationary economy changed the way our family makes decisions. The concepts covered here are practical and genuinely useful.

What We Do

Financial education
that makes sense
in Argentina.

Argentina's economic reality is specific. Persistent inflation reshapes the value of savings over months, not decades. The tools and frameworks that work in stable economies often fail here. Bas Madison addresses this directly.

Our programs are purely educational. We do not offer financial products, investment advice, or any service regulated by the BCRA, CNV, or SSN. What we provide is knowledge: the conceptual foundations families need to ask better questions and understand their options.

Four Core Areas

Knowledge that
stays with you.

Wealth Protection

Understanding how families can think about preserving the real value of what they have accumulated over time in inflationary contexts.

Savings Diversification

Exploring the concept of not concentrating all savings in a single asset class or currency, and why this matters for families.

Decision Frameworks

Learning structured ways to think through financial choices, compare alternatives, and avoid common cognitive biases under economic pressure.

Family Planning

Covering the basics of thinking about intergenerational wealth, family financial agreements, and planning horizons that span beyond immediate needs.

Topics We Cover

Explore the curriculum

Module 1

Understanding inflation and what it does to savings

When inflation runs persistently above salary adjustments, a family's purchasing power erodes silently. Most households feel this but lack the conceptual vocabulary to describe it precisely or respond strategically.

This module covers what inflation actually means for savings held in pesos, how to think about real versus nominal returns, and why the calendar matters when evaluating any financial decision in Argentina.

Module 2

What are assets and why diversification matters

Families often hold savings in forms that feel familiar but may not serve them well under inflation. This module introduces the concept of different asset categories, their general characteristics, and the basic logic of not concentrating savings in one place.

We explore why diversification is a concept, not a product, and how thinking about it changes the questions families ask when evaluating their situation.

Module 3

Family financial agreements and planning horizons

Financial decisions rarely happen in isolation. A family that hasn't discussed shared goals, risk tolerance, or time horizons will often make decisions that conflict with one another or serve only part of the household.

This module covers how families can establish common frameworks for thinking about short, medium, and long-term financial goals, and why intergenerational thinking is relevant even for middle-class households.

Module 4

How to structure a financial decision

Under economic pressure, families often make financial decisions reactively. This module introduces structured approaches to thinking through choices, identifying the real trade-offs, and avoiding the cognitive shortcuts that become costly under inflation.

Participants learn to separate emotional responses from analytical ones, and to ask the right questions before making any significant financial move.

Our Approach

Education,
not advice.

We are not financial advisors, brokers, or agents. Bas Madison does not sell products, manage money, or recommend specific investments. Our role is to help families understand concepts so they can have more informed conversations with professionals when they choose to.

This distinction matters. Educational content and regulated financial advice are different things. We operate exclusively in the educational space.
